Apr 4, 2025 · If the copied creature is a token, Naga Fleshcrafter (or in the case of its renew ability, each other creature you control) copies the original characteristics of that token as stated by the effect that created that token.

They don’t copy whether that creature is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras and Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, and so on.

Any “as this creature enters” or “this creature enters with” abilities of the copied creature will also work. Activating its renew ability doesn’t cause any creatures to enter the battlefield, and as such, these kinds of abilities won’t work with Naga Fleshcrafter’s renew ability.
